       2011Give a presentation about "Eastern and Western calligraphy the references and commonalities" at the University of Sunderland, UK
       2007-Instructor of Calligraphy at Kyushu Zokei Art College (This was the first regular lecture of the Western Calligraphy at Colleges and Universities in Japan)
    2002-Many calligraphy courses and workshops at Studio Ponte, the private studio for calligraphy and graphic design.

    WORK
       1995-Established Studio Ponte in Tokyo. Since then invited many calligraphers from all over the world to host workshops at the studio, such as Thomas Ingmire, Alice Koeth, Ewan Clayton, Denis Brown, Martin Jackson, Carl Rohrs, Betina Naab and Christelle Reboullet.
    1994-Design works as a freelance calligrapher, such as illustrations for MOE magazine, title design for books, logo design for a fashion brand Le cap estel, calendar design for Oracle Japan and Saibu Gas and illustration for the Japanese film Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.
    1990-92Worked at Shiga Editorial Design and Kudo Design Laboratory with Book Designers in Tokyo.
